We believe that our kids are an imperative part of Christian Life Church-Sugar Land. It is our desire to guide our children in developing a relationship with Christ at an early age, sparking the fire within each of them.
Sunday morning at CLC is a great time to be a kid! Our Spark Kids' services are fully staffed with adults and teens who are excited and committed to teaching and ministering to children.
Before service begins at 10:30, children are checked in by their parents where the parent and child will receive corresponding labels. The children will kick off the service along with their parents in the main sanctuary for a time of worship. As the worship team concludes, the pastor will dismiss the children to follow the appropriate team members to the Spark Kids rooms for the remainder of the service.
It's here that our team will use an interactive service with music, exciting teaching, games, snacks, and fun activities to create an opportunity for children to get closer to God through Bible lessons and prayer. A portion of the service will be conducted with ages 4-12 together, and a portion will be broken out into smaller age groups to expound upon the theme for the day.
You can be confident that your child is well cared for and having a great time learning about God while you participate in the main sanctuary.
CLC also has classes for 2-3 year olds and teenagers. The teen class rotates weekly between Jr High and High School.

Your First Visit
On your first visit, plan to come a little early to register your family. Look for the Spark Kids Check in when you enter the building. We will meet your family and ask you to complete a basic information card.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birth dates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
Check-In & Pick-Up
Safety is our top priority. Parents are provided a security tag with a numeric code that is exclusive to your family and your visit. The child will need to wear the name tag portion while the parents keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. After your first visit, you will then be entered into our database and may visit one of our self-serve check-in kiosks to print your tags.
This area is specially designed for mothers with infants to enjoy the Sunday service in a private environment where you can feed, change, and care for your baby.
Child dedication is a time for parents to symbolically give their children back to the Lord. It is a joint expression of a parent’s commitment to raise godly children and our commitment as a church to support and walk alongside parents in that calling.
