We are meeting this week online. We will also postpone our small groups this week. The COVID-19 virus situation has evolved to the point of the president of the US discouraging gatherings of over 10. While the bible does put an emphasis on assembling together, at least we have this avenue to connect. Please tune in during service times. Thursday will be abbreviated, but will be streamed. Sunday will be an encouraging time of worship and a word of hope. We will update again the beginning of next week.
Remember this past Sunday's message from 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind”
Let's keep God in the equation! Jesus is our source of strength. He is the healer of all sickness. In uncertain times, in times of need, the time is right for an outpouring of God's Spirit. Check on your neighbors. Invite people to tune in to our online service Sunday. Continue to pray for protection for our families, and all those affected by sickness and pray that the virus will be contained and conquered, in Jesus' name.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
- Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
“Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.” Psalm 91:9–10
